about

The first tune is a set dance I got from a Dublin friend and fiddle player, Sean Montgomery. I composed The Other Side whilst on a ferry between County Kerry and County Clare and looking over to those beautiful rolling hills of County Clare. I decided to make this the album name. It is also a play on the name Coyne (my pre-married name, now Clarke-Coyne) meaning 'The Other Side of the Coyne/coin'
