about

Johnny O’Leary’s Jig is named after a well-known button accordion player. I am joined here by the Dutch guitarist Peter Rechsteiner. My good friend Seamus McMahon, taught me the Kilfenora jig when we first met as youngsters at thet Kilmihil Fleadh in County Clare in the late 1970’s. I heard the legendary piper Paddy Keenan play this final tune many years ago.
