"Since the Coronavirus lockdown of March 2020, I have produced a series of music videos called Whistle Walks. Besides my passion for music, I also love walking in nature. I have taken my whistles and flutes out with my wife Annette and our Border Collie Dali, and wandered the hills, paths, valleys and wide-open spaces around our home village in the beautiful hills of North Wales.
This album is a snapshot of the music from those videos, now counting in the 150+. Many videos have also featured a duet with some of the top musicians from the world of Irish music. I wish to thank them all for their support and friendship. Several of them are featured on this album. I am truly blessed."

about
Mike McGoldrick says:
“I first heard Terry play at Liverpool Irish Centre in the early ‘80s; his solo performance has stuck with me since. His style of flute playing has inspired and influenced many young musicians, including me, and I was delighted to join the Whistle Walks series, with the reel ‘Bird in the Bush’. Terry has many great musical friends and he rallied us during lockdown for the videos and this album, igniting a spark in the dark days of the pandemic. It’s a cracking idea, bringing some of the most respected musicians on the traditional music scene together to make the best of the situation, resulting in this great collection of tunes ranging from classic jigs and reels to jazz piano accompaniment and Irish mass tunes with church organ. Well done Terry!”
